First Run in Weeks

HEY EVERYONE! I HAVEN'T BEEN RUNNING. I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY WITH WORK AND SCHOOL THAT MY LIFE HAS BEEN FOCUSED ON THAT. ALSO, I WAS GETTING FUSTRATED BECAUSE I LOST A LOT OF MY SPEED, SO I JUST STOPPED. BUT TODAY I WENT FOR A RUN WITH MOM (MY 1ST RUN IN WEEKS) AND I DECIDED I'M GOING TO KEEP IT UP AND WORK MY WAY BACK UP TO WHERE I WAS. IT WAS DEF A VERY SLOW RUN, BUT I GOT SOME MILES IN :). I RAN 3.72 MILES. FROM NOW ON, I'M NOT GOING TO CONCENTRATE ON TIME, JUST MY MILES. THEN ONCE I CAN BUILD BACK UP, I'LL WORK ON SPEED. THANKS TO MY MOM, I'M BACK OUT THERE!

Proud of you for getting out there! Don't let the dip in pace get you down, it will come back for sure! And getting to run with your mom is, I'm sure, a great tradeoff. How is school going?

Life has a bad habit of getting in the way of our running. School and family should be your main priorities right now. Your running will return to it's usual swiftness once you get back into a routine. Don't worry.

keep running. I was being lazy and just got back into a training routine again yesterday, I need it!
